OVER IT!
From the desk of Mel;
I was SO OVER this Business Coaching filming day that I casually walked the dogs in the forest and cruised back up the driveway to be confronted with lights, camera, action. Whoops; made a mad dash to the shower, pulled the hair up, slapped on my mascara and lippy which both then dribbled down my sweating face. I am SO OVER this …. (screaming in my head) …. I can’t even get out of bed without a daily plan or a strategic action.
Ready to roll and I’m up for the first interview. Not really sure why? The questions where asked and I could only say “ I’m OVER IT”! I want my dysfunctional life back, my two cups of coffee before even opening the eyes. Yelling at the kids just to help me get my world rocking. Everyone smiled at me pretending to understand. I felt really silly!
The morning continued and Paul stepped up to the lights and cameras with his powdered face and away he went. I suddenly felt extremely guilty that I had given up. We, the Business, the Coaching; it was all working for us and running extremely well. The next scene is the grand entrance of Peter Switzer. The electricity decided to drop out and we were on hold; no lights, no cameras, no coffee machine! It was a very hot day and Maree the make-up artist was doing a grand job with the fan and dab.
Finally, action, lights, and Peter walked toward me. I was gob smacked as he strolled up in his Lycra swimsuit holding his board. What a guy, enthusiasm swept me up and I began to get more than a little excited. My heart pounded as he spoke to us; what a day, what incredible advice. We are on the right track. Don’t give up, it is working….

First impressions do count hey Pete. What was it you told me? "One step at a time". Settle Tiger!
