INTRODUCTION
What happens when a Maintenance manager and an Aromatherapist join forces? You get Facestuff for Men, a new and exciting company that produces a range of functional and easy to use Men's skin care products. Facestuff was created by Meredith Bennett and Caroline Cox when they saw a need in the market for skin products designed specifically to suit the Aussie Man and the Australian lifestyle. The products are Australian manufactured, naturally based and are suitable for all skin types.
THE CHALLENGE
The big challenges have been to build both brand awareness and our reputation as a 'trusted' brand with only limited funds for marketing, advertising and PR campaigns. We also need to increase the number of stockists for our products and increase web sales.
THE SOLUTION
We use the internet, blogs, email and social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook and MySpace, to build relationships with existing and future customers. By providing skincare-related content on our website, as well as via Twitter, we hope to promote Facestuff as a known and trusted source of skincare information.
THE BUSINESS BENEFITS
Through adoption of technology and by taking advantage of the possibilities of social networking, we can run our business from anywhere we have web access.
FURTHER INFORMATION
As our business is mainly done on the road it is imperative we are contactable at all times. Our 1300 phone number can be easily diverted to our mobile, so we can always be reached by our customers and trade clients. Our broadband service allows us to run our website and online sales, and send email newsletters to our existing and potential customers.
